Whatever your level is, various trips of cycle tourind and mountain bike are accessible between sea and mountain.

In family, we recommend you the route from Guéthary to Saint-Jean-de-Luz along the coast. The departure is making from the hotel club Vacanciel Herrixka – 855 chemein du Trinquet.

Discovery route very easy, accessible to all and recommended to families :
Nive and Ocean : 51 km
Half-day route, mildly hilly, for average touring cyclist :
The road of the smugglers : 58 km

From the Nive to the Basque coast – 11 Mountain Bike circuits

A map with about 165 km of marked out and maintained Mountain Bike circuits on the territory of Nive-Nivelle au Sud Pays Basque.

11 routes allow to discover the various facets of the Basque Country between sea and mountains.

The easiest starts from Urrugne or from Socoa towards Sokorri. Three others don’t contain real difficulty to cross Espelette, Itxassou, Ustaritz, jatxou, Halsou et Cambo.

The confirmed mountain bike cyclists can attack Saint-Ignace’s pass on Sare, leave from Ibardin’s pass to come down on Hendaye by Biriatou or go up to the Xoldogaïna lake.
